"Like a virgin/Touched for the very first time/When your heart beats next to mine" -Like a virgin Madonna

Hello Everyone!
I am in the worlds best mood. I have been all week. I'm serious. It was nonstop good stuff since monday. Monday was the best day of the week if you'll believe it. I have a story but I feel like its too phenomenal to tell. So maybe in a few months. But anyways you know what made tuesday realllly good? GLEE!!!! I'm in love with that show. It took me to a whole diffrent level of happiness. They did Madonna songs! YES! Ok so I want to explain the whole madonna thing to you all. I recently discovered her music and fell in love with it. Number one, because its good. Before the death of the late and great michael jackson I wasen't really a fan of old music. Sure I listened to my dads favorites (Tears in heaven, rest your love on me, one love). But I didn't realize that the truth of the matter is that music made in the past 20 or 30 years is waaaaaay better then any of the songs we have now. I promise. If you have a true appriciation of music you would understand that.

When Michael jackson died something that I regreted was the fact that I just now discovered songs like man in the mirror and human nature but they had been around for so long. Michael jackson is a great. But hes gone now. I will never be able to go see MJ do his thing on stage. So along with my facination and appriciation for him I discovered his ex girlfriend. Non other then madonna. I digged up one of her old cds and I fell in love with it. Her songs speak wonders. Their lyrically amazing but the beat just talks right to your heart. Am I nuts? Do you feel fufilled when you listen to music? Because I do. Right now i'm listening to what it feels like for a girl - Madonna. Its a good song and Madonna is a pretty good example about how you can sing something that isen't romantic and still touch people in the same way. Anyways the main point of this is Madonna is amazing, a wonderful legend and the best part is shes still alive and still has concerts. So a promise I made to myself was that I would go see a madonna concert and mark my words people I will!

I personally believed that gLee did a phenomenal representation of the greatness of Madonnas music. I loved every song. Ofcourse my favorite was like a prayer. I am obsessed with that song and Glee did it so well! I loved it so much. I sang along to every since word. Like a virgin was really great as well. The musicality of it made me want to faint. They didn't really change much about it but they just made me remember the fantastic other songs Madonna has out there. Another song that had really good vocals were the compbination of borderline and Open your heart which was the duet between rachel and finn. They made the sogn have passion. It was great. Then the band with Mercades and Kurt doing 4 minutes. They stole the show for awhile. I was like WOW! I know that mercades can really belt it out but she reminded me that she has a voice just as good as rachels. Kurt as well! He can sing it man. I thought it was a good twist to the show that they joined the cheer squad. Long story short I LOVE GLEE! :)
