So after Oregan I spent a couple days just around the house relaxing and exploring the area by where my aunt Tina lives. I had a sleepover at my moms best friend Samia's house. That was fun because we listened to music and I got to hang out with Aidah and Abdul Wahab. Their about my brothers age and I just played games and such with them.
A little after Oregan my Uncle Jay had a barbaque. It was fun. He has a really nice place. I started off the day watching Hotel Ruwanda (amazing movie), and then I watched the movie my Uncle acted in called Wahala in America. It was also a good one but I never got the chance to finish it. Anyways all my aunts and uncles and my little cousins were together the day of the barbaque. After the lunch I went to the fair with my aunt Fathia and Tina. It was a lot of fun, we looked at some jewlary.
In the mornings me and my grandma became walgreens regulars always doing somehting picture related. And then we would walk to michaels or some other nearby store after walgreens.
After the bbq I went to the space needle which I already wrote about, That was one of the best things I did out of the whole trip.
The day after the space needle, me, my grandma, and my aunt went to the African American history museum. It was fun, they had an ethipoia exhibit there. I learned a lot and it was actually pretty cool. Then after that we hit the mall! Their mall was amazing! It was bigger then Oak Park mall and they had so many cool stores. I ofcourse have always loved H&M (which they had) but I discovered a store called Love Culture which I adored too. The best part was everything I got from the mall was a gift :)
After the mall my Uncle and I went to his house to hang out and just talk and then after that we went to see Grown Ups. That movie was really funny! I actually liked it. It had Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade, and Salma Hayek in it. It was pretty funny.
The day after that it was just me, my grandma and walgreens in the morning then towards the evening my uncle came to pick me up again and we went to walk around this pretty lake and I recorded a song (more information on that coming up...)
song of the day: Waka Waka (This time for Africa) by Shakira : I adore that song. The african beats are good and I just like it. It makes me happy.
quote of the day: Have you ever wondered which hurts the most: saying something and wishing you had not, or saying nothing, and wishing you had?
