Hey! I'm back home and it feels good but i'm missing seattle a little bit right about now. I had a really good time with family. Their the most important and they were all so fun to be around. I'll talk more about that later but theres something important I learned from seattle I think I need to share. Here it goes...
So the first week when I went to seattle I went to sleepover at my auntie s.'s home and she had a video of when they were young playing at someones 21st birthday. My dad was in it and they were all pretty young. They were having so much fun. It had nothing to do with the drinking, it was an african 21st birthday. But it had everything to do with people just dancing and letting loose. It reminded me how important it is. To just let loose and have a good time. To laugh and really mean it. I laughed through so much of my trip, my heart feels good.
I learned that a person is only young once and the youth should be enjoyed. I spend a little too much time being nearvous about what certain people think but i'm done with that. Or i'm going to try to be. This is my youth and it will be youth wasted if i'm fully enjoying it. Forgetting what everyone thinks and just having a good time.
Now is the time for those short skirts, crazy hair styles, and embarassing dance moves. Its the time to really enjoy our youth and i'm going to do it. I'm glad I got that lesson out of seattle. Really really glad.

quote of the day: Your only young once
