Summer 2010 has been amazing. One of the best summers of my life. I was in 11 different states: New York (2 days), Pennsylvania (1 dat), Maryland (multiple days), New Jersey (2 days), Illinois (2-3 hours), Washington (10 days), Oregan (2 days), California (2 hours), Colorado (1 hour), Kansas (most of the summer),and Missouri (maybe about 20 hours) and each and every one of them now has a special place in my heart. I got to see some of the people I love the most, my family and my best friends.
I got pretty far in my musical life. Getting a little bit better at the guitar, and a lot better at the piano. I recorded my first official song. I proved that I was independent enough to fly half way across the country by myself.
I made a lot of self discoveries and figured out where I am in life and where I want to go. I took some risks, and chickened out on some things.
I was part of a couple of things that benefitted other people, had an opportunity to give back a little bit.
I also spent way too much time of facebook and twitter :/
I really lived. I have close to no regrets for this summer. I'm blessed to have had such a great 2 and 1/2 months. I hope the year continues this well.
Keep you fingers crossed for me going back to school today.
