I feel diffrent. Its amazing the diffrence that one second can make in a life. It can take one second to bring someone into the world and one second to take them out. Seconds pass without notice. Moments become lifetimes. Its weird. All I know is that latley my emotions and my feelings have been changing second to second. And then my mind keeps going back to the one thing all hopeless romantics go back to love.
Have I been in love? I don't know. But I do know that I've felt pretty strong about certain boy (s) out there. But never strong enough to be myself, the best me I can be. Its weird. I just I feel like sometimes I'm one person, to the public eye but inside me theres a greater person. The person i'm ashamed or afraid to show. I don't know why. I had this problem forever. I guess i've become so good at keeping up a sharade of "Mariam" that it seems weird to just do what I really feel. And I guess latley i've been thinking that maybe if this one perfect boy really knew the me on the inside, the one thats hiding, he would love me.
But how do you stop a sharade thats been going on for 15 years. I guess the first step for me today is to share this inner me with the world, then some how manage to show some perfect boy what I really am.
1. I'm not really quiet. I talk a LOT when I feel really comfortable around people. I talk about nothing and everything. And when i'm really close to a person I go into pyscoligist mode in talking which leads me to number two.
2. I like helping people with their problems. And most all the time I have a great solution to whatever the problem is. But I'm always too scared to push peoples buttons so basically everyone in my life, yes everyone, gets the edited version of me. I guess part of me dosen't want to loose good people to my big mouth.
3. I have ever changing intrests. I like most everything music realted. I like playing my instruments but I just don't like practicing. I wish you could just pick up an instraument and be good. I don't like having to play boring songs. I want to get right to the hard stuff like bohemian rhapsody. I am just now learning to enjoy the piano.
4. I'm pretty easily freaked out. But I don't show it so I end up staying all night thinking about the evil serial killer or mutated animal thats loose. I think its part of why I like the idea of married life so much, theres someone sleeping next to you when your scared to make you feel safe again
5. In 1st grade I made the rule that I would never again cry in public. I haven't since. Its part of my outer shell. You can hurt me a million times but you wont know, the only person that will know is my shower where i'm free to cry when things get tough
6. I was recently told that I am the defintion of a prep... :/ Its true. No I am not mean girls but I love drama t.v. like gossip girl. And I love to read girly books. My room is pink. I could spend an hour on my nails and consider it time well spent. I love to shop, shopping is my passion. Especially for tops and most recently shoes. What comes with shopping expertise is noticing not so cute outfits from a mile away. I to this day have never insulted anyones outfit face to face though, i'm good at keeping things inside. But brightly colored rompers with parrots on them...YUCK
7. I find it hard to look people in the eye when I talk to them , so a lot of people label me as shy or a lier. But I just can't. Its really weird. I do my best but I end up looking down a lot. I just feel exposed for some reason when I look someone in the eye for like an our strait. Its like i'm an open book, or standing out in nothing but a bra and my underwear. When someone is free to look at your eyes its almost as though their reading your heart.
8. I really hate giving stuff away to my cousins in africa. I know this sounds really cruel. I have never admitted it and I always agree too but deep down inside I hate it. Its not cause i'm a pack rat its just that I feel like I have zero connection to them and their going around wearing my clothes that i've had a whole life in. My memories are on people I don't know. Its kind of why i'm opposed to thrift stores. Those are other peoples memories, who knows how dirty of memories. Anyways I know its the right thing to do, but i'd much rather give my stuff to someone I have a personal connection too.
9. When I like something, I really like it. When I first heard love story by taylor swift I think I listend to it like 100 times in a month. When I fall, I fall deep and i honestly never get over whatever it was that I liked.
10. I have a type, in boys I mean. Theres a type of boy I just like. And its not physical. Its a personality that I like. I really musical, ambicious boys. I also like them to be not so intmindating, and free to be a little exposed. I like boys who can make me laugh, and don't fill the need to fill every second with talk. There are some moments that are better appriciated in silence.
11. I hate bugs. The truth is I haven't been scared of a bug since I was three. But I really dislike them so I keep on the fear of spiders and bugs just so someone can kill it. And I don't want that someone to be me. Thats a life, and what if their bug germs get all over me. So at home when theres a bug I put on the whole sharade so my daddy will kill it :)
12. I'm a little on the messy side. I'm not a full on messy person but every once in awhile I just end up putting a ton of papers on my desk and it gets really unorganized. I also have my own system of "neat" going for me with my closet. But i'm not anywhere near a slob.
13. I'm a believer in money can get you hapiness. I know thats totally not right to say but heres how I see it. If a person gets a job that isen't there first job but gives them a lot of money then after work their free to do whatever they want, whatever it is they need to be happy. so for me that would be traveling. But if what I want to be is a paint salesgirl or something I won't be able to do everything I love because everything costs money. make sense? probably not. my mind is on its own brainwave.
14. One of my secret desires for when I grow up has always been to be a housewife. I know, I know I'm a woman I can do anything but I kind of really just want to be that wife who stays at home and cooks and cleans and picks out furniture. Is that weird? I mean i'm definatley gonna have a college degree in hopefully pharmacy so I can take care of myself but i've always admired the housewife lifestyle.
15. I feel alone a lot of the time because I don't really have anyone thats there "whenever I need them". I do have good friends but most of my good friends have busy lifestyles so they really don't have time to listen about my bad day, or some rude comment. It kind of sucks. I guess thats the good part of having a sibling close in age to you. Their always there for you when you need to just let something out. My brothers a sweetheart and he'll listen to me sometimes but its just not the same as having a friend who lives next door to you or somethng that you can walk over to in the middle of the night and spill your heart too.
16. The newest part of me that is not as well hidden is that I am obsessed with Michael Jackson. The music, and the man himmself. It happened after his death but I am just so facinated with his life. I know so much I could write a book of my own. I guess it has to do with some of my celebrity obsessivness.
Well I could talk about hidden things all day long, but I think thats enough worldly exposure for one day.

"Livin' in the world of love is new to me/sunshines year round no economy/just love in this special world"
Another song I wrote a long time ago I made a piano part for as well. It was fun to make and a diffrent kind of vibe. Here are the lyrics
Livin' in the world of love
There is no word to describe
This feeling I have inside
oh oh oh
Please boy try to understand
I'd run to mars and back
Just to prove to you I care
Chorus
Livin' in the world of love
is new to me
Sun shines year round
no economy
Just love...
In this special world
The only feelin' people have
is hapiness
heartshapped raindrops
and lots of smiley face
in this world of love
Theres only one step
it take to get there
listen real close
Cause i'm only gonna
say it once
The way to get there is to open your heart....
(Chorus)
I was kind of going for the laid back hippish cheesy sound. I know I succeeded! It might be too cheesy for some of your taste but ya know.

"You don't know how it hurts/U don't know how I cried/Don't know I spent my time wishin'..."
Ok so the story behind these song lyrics are kind of funny. One morning I got a pen and paper and I wrote my first song in awhile. It was because my heart was hurting for awhile and I just coulden't sit down and write a love song because I myself was in pain, more pain then I was letting on. Anyways so finally I decided that I would just try it. It turned out pretty good! So I tried to shoot a video but I wasen't memorized so I snuck some headphones and sang along to myself. It was weird but the videos are kind of embarassing. I look good in them since I took like 2 hours getting ready but I kept giggling and stuff. Anyways heres the song....
You don't know
For years I watched you from afar
I like your walk, your talk, you were my every desire
Tried this and that
tryin to get your attention but to you I was nothing
just someone you passed on the road to succsess
squeezed my heart on that path
chorus
You don't know how it hurts
you don't know how I cried
Don't know I spent my time wishin
Hopin prayin that you'd see
a light in me
You decided to work
Didn't see any worth
In those hints I kept on giving
In the life that I was leading
You made me stop believing I will never forget
The first time you started giving me your eyes
Said I was special, sent me all those texts
You made me feel real good
like a brand new butterfly
spreading my wings towards my dream
I should have known it was all just
one big joke
made me smile for awhile
forget the word impossible
but when word got around
I was the punchline to your joke
the pain began
(Chorus)
Theres one more line of versus but i think you get the picture of the song. I'm pretty proud of it.

"I got the magic in me/everytime I touch that track it turns into gold/Everyone knows i've got the magic in me"
Today I want to talk about talent. I was really really inspired after watching the BET awards last night. A lot of the people there were people who grew up in not so great neighborhoods with nothing but the clothes on their back and look where they ware now. You know what got them there? Talent, determination, a lot of practice, and faith. Now for some reason when I think talent I think back to about third grade. Third grade is when I moved into my first house (I had lived in town homes but this was the first house that my parentals would actually own). I was pretty excited because a ton of kids from school lived on the street in front of me. Anyways we used to have these competitions for singing and dancing. Then we'd all be the judges so its fair, but we would always end up in tears or voting for ourselves.
I guess in a way that taught me that first you have to really like what your doing. I think if a person writes a song, they know its good because they personally can not stop singing or listening to it. You in away have to be your own first true fan. But a lot of the time I think talent is a gift from god. Theres really no explination that I can come up with for why some people can sing with these big beautiful voices like alicia keys or justin bieber and others just can't. Whenever theres no explination you know its unexplainable. If I'm being a hundred percent honest I don't know a single person who has talent like anyone on the Bet Awards. No one. But i'm thinking maybe if people put all their heart and soul in trying its possible they could make it that big.
I really don't even know where I was getting at with this blog. I guess I just want to say that everyone should try to be the best at whatever craft their dealing with. If the only thing you do is life is wash dishes then make sure those dishes are really clean. If your the garbage taker outer in the house then make sure you do it with determination. Because i've noticed something about all people with a great talent. They are so happy. Because they have the feeling of accomplishment. Its fantastic. We all know it but imagine acomplishing something as big as winning an award on live television that airs all over the world. It must feel good. I want to feel that way someday.

"I'm starting with the Man in the mirror/I'm asking him to change his ways/& no message could have been any clearer..."
Hey everyone!
Do I even need to say about the song of the day? Its man in the mirror. Now that song is going to come to play in some big disscusions about the 2010 BET AWARDS! They were last night and the Bet awards are seriously my favorite of the year. Their so fun the music is so good. I'm gonna get right too it cause I think this will be a long one.
Ok so when the award show started with freakin' Kanye West I was like man this will a sucky one compared to last years tribute award show to MJ. I basically tuned him out and his over dramatic ways. After him it started getting good. Alicia keys won two well deserved awards. She looked stunning, definatly the best dressed of the night. She was with her fiance and possible step son? Anyways she also had two amazing performances. My favorite was the medly of her songs but she blew me away with her Prince tribute performance. Alicia keys is the most talented women in show buisness. And don't be all like...no its beyonce! Anyone can shake their but for 30 minutes strait, beyonce is no alicia. She didn't even show up to the show!
Drake, and trey songs won awards. Speaking of Drake and Trey Songz OH MY GOSH! The bet guys looked so freaking hott! They were all drop dead gourgeous. Listing names so you can google them. Drake, Trey songs, T.I. , and usher. I would marry any of them in a heartbeat. Forget the age diffrence! But the guy who made my night was Chris Brown!
What did I Tell you all like 100 blogs back? Remember I told you I forgave chris because he had SO much talent. Well he showed that to the world last night. Oh.MY.Gawd. He did a Michael Jackson tribute and it was hands down the best yet. He wasen't scared to Tackle michaels big songs and Michael would have been proud. He was intrudced by Jermaine and he started with The way you make me feel. He sang that one himself and did the moves. Then he went to Remeber the times and he just did the dance for that. Then all the lights in the stadium went out and the dancers were in these suits that had lights outlining them so there were these little outlines of gold doing the smooth criminal dance.
AWESOME right? Then Chris came back and danced to Billy Jean, he really did it justice. Then Man in the mirror came on. Chris Brown started crying. And his tears broke the hearts of women all over america!!! He coulden't even sing. He tried but he coulden't he was crying and crying until the end. He eventually won the fandamoniam award and when he came on stage he said something like, " I really wasen't expecting this. thank you to the fans and I have a message for you guys. I let you down once; but i'll never do it again. thank you". How can you not love Chris Brown again after that? If you didn't see it you HAVE to youtube it. It was the best performance ever and every celebrity was tweeting about it. Even Kim Kardashian was watching the BET awards. :) They come on again Tues. from 6-9.
Some other great performances were Trey Songz singing yo side of the bed. Usher coming down off of that cloud singing there goes my baby. Diddy Dirty Money and that awesome stroblight thing was good stuff. I really enjoyed the duet with B.o.b. who T.I. set up just before the show. He sang airplanes with Keisha coles and it intertwined with Eminems song not afraid. I coulden't help but start dancing during that one. Then the finalie was ok. It was a big rap performance as it is every year this time it was Ludacris song My chick bad with Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and some other dudes. The whole posse. It was a good rap performance...but they didn't top Lil wayne from last year. T.I.'s part must have tied. He also did his own song and it was good. Anyways you all really need to see the show. It was so so so so great.

p.s. John legend won the humanitarian award and it was well deserved. Hes doing a lot of work in Tanzania and here in america as well. His speech was great, hes a very educated man.
p.p.s. my question all of y'all was did you see what prince was wearing, and was he married to the woman sitting next to him? Prince won the lifetime achievment award. I'm not really a fan. But the tribute to him was good and his speech was good.
I love the BET awards because they all always thank god first and then all the gospel singers always come out and take us to church. haha, this time it wasen't a church song it was a song of prayer for Haiti.
p.p.p.s this is the last one but I thought I should mention El Debarge. The old people were going crazy over him. as diddy put it hes bringing back light skinned and curly hair (haha). Hes the dude that sang "Rythem of the night".

I could not go to bed without putting something out there for the world. Theres this man called CHRIS BROWN and he stold my heart tonight. He had the best MJ tribute i've seen so far, he moved me to tears, his smile brightened my life, and man Chris brown has had a come back. Michael would have loved it. Mike is still the man but chris brown would have DEFINATLY gotten a hand shake and an I love you more from the man. ahhh that was phenomenal. More on the BET awards tommorow
People killin'/people dyin'/children hurt and you hear them crying/can you practice what u preach/& would u turn the other cheek/...where is the love"
Dear readers,
Life is hard. I know that you all know that but sometimes it helps to know that life is hard for everyone. Not just you. Everyone is tortured by the difficulties in their own lives and to be honest it dosen't help to know that someone has it worse than you. But what I feel, weather it be wrong or right, is that we are the only ones who can make life easier for ourselves. We can do this by doing simple things like getting of rid of the relationships in our lives that give us the most stress and the most pain. Another thing we can do that I think is super important is making sure there is a time everyday where you can do the things you love. Don't let anyone get in the way of that time. I don't care if your jail and the evil gaurd dosen't understand the importance of Khloe and Kourtney take Miami; if thats what you love you need to find the way.
Another thing I think makes life hard is the fact that there are people out there who take advantage of other people. They make them do all their dirty work and use you. Sometimes its the people that love you the most that are the hardest on you. They don't realize how much their using you because the truth is you let them! People all over need to stand up for themselves. Weather it be to their husbands, their bosses, or even their fathers. Because it is not fair for some people to do all the work and others live the good life. It should never be like that in a home, a workplace, or any kind of community that people have. I'll give you an example of someone getting used. I know a lady, who is very nice. She has two children. Both children she has living with her mother until she finishes some of the stuff she wants to do to "set up" her life. About a year ago she got pregnant AGAIN with a third child. Theres nothing wrong with bring babies into the world but guess what shes going to do with that baby? send him to mommy. The mother is getting used in this situation. I think if your going to give birth you better take care of you child and not put anyone else in charge of your responsibilities.
The last thing that I think may make life easier is listing all the good things that you have going in life. I mean, everyone has SOMETHING good going for them. It think people don't put enough emphasis in the good as they put in the bad. So maybe a little optimism can lighten the load of all the people hurting out there. Thats millions of people. I thank god that I have a good life. Part of that is from focasing on the good. Yes there are a couple downers in my life as in everyones but what are we gonna do? thats life. Someday I believe everyone will get at least one of the many good things they were looking forward too.
song of the day: A dream is a wish you heart makes - Cinderella
quote of the day: Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. - Bhudda
I thought since I was talking a lil about modern life, I would use the song I relaly love. Its Where is the Love by the black eyes peas. The lyrics are great and its just a good song about the world today.

"Cause we gonna rock this club/we gon' go all night/we gon' light it up/like its dynamite/Cause I told you once/now I told you twice..."
Hey readers!
The lyrics above are from a really good new song that I love called Dynamite by Taio Cruz. Its really upbeat and pretty summer-ish. So as people we've all been guilty of lying to ourselves every once and awhile right? Like about a certain guy, or how much we have to spend and such. Well I for sure have done that a lot. I always manage to tell myself that its just a coincidence or blah blah blah. Well when a coincidence has happened more then 10 times then you know that its really just the truth. I personally think lying to yourself is never a good thing, because it may make you feel better for awhile but when the time comes for the truth to truley unfold, it hurts more. Trust me, I know from expirence.
Well my Michael Jackson mania is still here a year later. Its hard for me not to be fantasized by this mans whole life, and now his death. I speant like 5 hours friday sitting and watching these specials. One after another. Now was really good for those of you die hard fans. Ok so This it It. I gave it amazing ratings and I loved it right? Theres something to notice in those movies that may be a hint on his death. Oh so theres this one clip where dear Michael is wearing 3 shirts, the practice was in june. Everyone else is chirless or in cool clothing. It may have had to do with diprovan starting to take its toll. Its also interesting that Dr. Conrad murray asked AEG for rececitating machines four days before MJ's death. Did he know something? Or did they ALL know something. I'm starting to think maybe Joe Jackson is right and AEG has a part of this. The more that unfolds the more i'll keep you updated.
A little news weekly update is that of course Vienna and the bachlor broke up. I really don't think that show is a good way to find love because his throat is down like 20 girls throats. It just makes him not want a serious relationship and instead want multiple women at once. Today is Khloe Kardashians birthday! so a very happy birthday to Khloe! A great gift to her would be everyone watching her show tonight (even though I can't!! BET awards are at the same time :/). In the world cup events both America and the U.K. are officially out. Its a little sad but I guess that its good for the "little people" (un-western countrys) to get a better chance. My money is still on Brazil and Argentina for the winning team. Those teams can PLAY!

"Don't wanna be a boy /you wanna be a man/You wanna stay alive/better do what you can/so BEAT IT"
Hey Everyone!
Today is the one year death anniversary of Michael Jackson. Exactly one year ago, he passed and he is missed to this day. I think everyone is going to remember where they were when they heard the news. I happened to be downstairs on facebook when this girl I don't even no wrote on her status "Michael jackson died" with eyes kind of like this "O.o" My mind thought what? So I went to google and typed in Michael Jackson dead and it lead me to TMZ who had a picture of a guy on a stretcher (didn't look to much like the legendary M.J.)and said he was dead. I didn't believe it so I went upstairs and was like "MOM! did you hear michael jackson died?" And she was like: "No...it's probably not true turn on cnn". So we turned on the news and it said that michael jackson was in the hospital. But they had already started showing pictures of him as a child and "great moments". Thats when my aunt called me and said, "Michael is dead. Thats why cnn is showing all of this. " Within seconds CNN changed the breaking news headline to say that the greatest entertainer that ever lived has left us. I don't think i'll ever forget it.
Over this last year I have become a big michael jackson fan so today I wanted to remember him by watching some old interviews and such. Here are some songs I absolutley love by him.
1. I'll be there - Jackson 5
2. PYT - Michael Jackson (thriller album)
3. Human Nature (thriller album)
4. Billie Jean
5. Thriller
6. Beat it
7. Man in the mirror
8. Black or White
9. Heal the world
10. I want you back
Those are just ten, but every single MJ song out there is wonderful. Especially when you watch the videos or performances. The guy was a musical genius. Especially when you check out the superbowel performances or really anything he did live. He was a talent the world will never see the likes of again.
As a musician, I see so many talents he has that I could never posses. The fact that when he writes a song he fears every instrument, ever beat, knows every note he will sing and every key change. Thats really hard to do, no matter how many years of practice a person has.
My heart still goes out to the Jackson family but especially Katherine (couldn't imagine loosing a child), and Prince Michael the 1st and 2nd, along with Paris Jackson. They had a father who loved them so much and they should never forget it. And to all of Michael's brothers and sisters god will heal the pain of your loss slowly but surly.
What I hope for the future of Michael Jacksons legacy is the stupid stories of molestation and paternity issues will disappear and people will remember him simply for the great talent he possessed and the songs he's written that have filled our lives with happiness. So this blog is to the greatest entertainer that ever lived.... R.I.P Michael Joseph Jackson

Beth I hear U callin/But I cant come home right now/Me & the boys r playin/& we just cant find the sound/Just a few more hours & ill be right home 2 U
Hello. The song of the day is by Kiss. Its called Beth. The reason I picked this song today ties into the story of my last vacation day. In the morning I went to a store called Hair 4 U with Neema and we purchased stuff for her to do my hair. It turned out super cute! It took a long time but NCIS helped the time pass by.
When my parents came back from visiting friends we went t
o Baltimore harbor and it was the perfect way to end a perfect trip. Baltimore harbor is such a chill location that its perfect. There are two ships just kind of docked that you can dine in. There are a ton of shops to visit but its just fun to walk around and the atmosphere is fantastic. I felt good to be there. As we were leaving we saw a guy playing music. We put all the change we had (which might add up to a good 3 bucks) into his bucket and what do you know. He started playing a song I like and came to know from glee. He played Beth. So we stood and listen and enjoyed.
The vacation was the best ever. I saw so much I just loved the trip. Seeing family is always a good thing but our relationships have become diffrent over the years. With my oldest cousin B. its the same. And it always will be cause we have a good family bond. We get along, we can talk for hours as long as he dosen't make fun of me (never tell your cousins about 7th grade crushes because they never forget). It was a good expirence. My little cousin Camille was a joy. She grew up so much and we talked about boys, justice, nails, friends, and frenimies. I loved her stories and she was a sweet well put together little girl. My cousin Neema who did my hair is nice as well, I wish I'd gotten to talk to her more. My other cousin Heri just didn't even talk to us . I also got along with my cousins Kinjo and Karina really well which was cool! Heres to cousins...

You got designer shades just to hide your face/you wear them around like your cooler than me/and you never say hey or remember my name"- Mike Posner
Hey Hey Hey it's me, Mariam! Hows it going? Before I get back to the vacation stories, I was going to tell you about the song in the title. Its called Cooler than me by a new artist Mike Posner. Hes number 3 on itunes and his song is really good. I also want to share a secret with you. Last night I wrote a certain celebrity that I adore a letter. now I can't decide weather to send it or not.
It wasen't creapy it just said I respect your show, and I think your cute give me a call or send me a tweet sometime. IDK im deciding weather or not to send it.
Ok so back to the vacation stories. On the second to last day of my trip I went to Washington D.C. It was our whole gang plus Neema. She was our tour guide. I was glad she went, because that was the first time we actually had a real conversation. But i'll talk more about that lator. At D.c. the first step was the capital building. Heres a pic.
Then we walked to the washington monument (which isen't as close as you'd think)
Then we went to the world war II Memorial which is beautiful. Its filled with waterfalls and all kinds of things. Its fairly new.
Then started the long walk towards the water from forrest Gump where he yells JENNY!!! And she runs in the water. Anyone who hasen't seen forrest gump is missing half their life. OMG that movies is hilarious. Fabulous acting, acadamy award winning. Heres a picture
Then we saw Abe Lincoln. Hes so big! I always imagined as a little kid I could crawl up and sit on his lap but it would be more like a height. hes WAY far up.
then we ended with Obama's house!! YAY!! The white house is pretty cool. When I was little it wasen't nearly as gaurded. Now its surrounded by gates. you can't enter anywhere close to it. I swear the gates have been moved up. And you can see security in black heavily armed on the roof. so much for "the home of the people"
We ended the day by visiting friends who were hilarious and going to springfield mall.

We were high/We were low/But I promise I will never let you go/Said I got I got I got I got your back boy" - T.I. and Keri Hilson
Hello. Let the record show that jail did not suck all the talent out of T.I. His new song featuring Keri Hilson is pretty amazing. I like the lyrics, hence it being the title of todays blog. The song is called Got your back. The lyrics are the sweetest thing. I would post the whole thing but you all should listen to the song. Tameka "Tiny" is really lucky she has a guy who will write a song like that about her. The song is perfecty fitting for my new romance-ish mood...
I wondered how long it would last. Me pretending that I didn't want a certain guy. For awhile I did really stop thinking about him. I filled my mind up with various diffrent things. But then last night I started writing. The book I am writing happens to be a love story. It reminded me how much I want the scenes to come to life only this time I would be mary. I don't know what it is about someone whos barley said two words to me in the last decade, that makes me so attracted. It can't be for no reason right?
Its weird because I have virtually no one to talk about this whole ordeal because I can't explain it. It just feels like for some reason deep down inside I feel like he is the guy that can make the anxiety go away. For some reason when something involves him I just feel like myself. That may not be the case in person, but when we're not in person. For some reason I feel like maybe he has the potential to like me. All of me. The me with the messed up hair (remind me to thank edith a thank you not for that), the me who ways more then the average 95 pounds (thank you paris hilton for making aneorix beauty... she needs a thank you note also), the me who speaks swahilli and is more african then she lets on, and just me. All of me. He haen't showed a single sign of liking any of me but for some reason I think he has the potential. And thats what makes so into him. not to meantion hes perfect....
But along with perfect hes far away. Practically on the other side of the world. And theres also other complications that come with him. It woulden't be easy but making work would make it so much sweeter. I have fallen again, and the sad thing is he still didn't do a single thing to deserve it. Maybe he sent flowers to the wrong house? haha. Just joking. I'm crazy to like someone that dosne't like me. I've been doing it my whole life and this story always ends the same way. I'm just going to have to deal.
song of the day: Got your Back - T.I. featuring Keri Hilson (I want a man to have my back like T.I. has Tiny's. No I don't want a guy with a million guns but I guy who will fight with me, for me any time of the day. You think he can fall from the sky?)
quote of the day: She could talk about him all day, but when hes actually there shes speechless - Teen quotes on twitter
Apolagies are like white out. They can cover up a mistake but they can never make it go away - person who runs teen quotes

Caught in a landslide/no escape from reality/Open your eyes/look up to the sky and see"-Bohemian rhapsody Queen
Hey everyone! The song of the day is pure greatest. I have to admit that you have to truley understand music to see the greatness of this song because its honestly pure genius. I'm working on playing it on the piano and its challenging, there are lots of key changes, and just the fact that it dosen't follow the usual format of verses chorus verses chorus is pretty cool. You can say i'm a freddy mercury fan. His songs just kind of touch me. But back to a diffrent subject i'm going to discuss my trip again...
The third day we stayed in New York, woke up fairly early to go to the Empire State Building. We did this portion of our trip without our guide which was pretty impressive. We got on the metros ourselves and managed to find everything. When we entered the empire state building we went through security and payed that outrageous price to go to the top. Only me, my brother, and my grandpa went because it was price. We wated in a huge line then went up to the 80th floor to find a bigger line waiting. After about an hour we got into an elevator and got taken to the very top and wow! It was amazing looking down on the city from above. A person just feels so free looking up there. Not to meantion its the spot where chuck proposed to blair!!! I was so excited to be up there. It was really cool. Heres some pics...
We also went to the Statue of Liberty on Day two which was also a site to see. I went there my last trip to New York but it was still cool. Pictures from that..
The last site we went to see on that day was chinatown. I was on a mission for a designer purse. My dream purse was a tiny Louis Vuitton purse. I adore designer bags and I don't have one. I was on the way to find my first, for a discount ofcourse. We walked down chinatown and so many people walked up to me asking. you want a bag? designer bags anyone? They were all black and of jamaican. All of these guys carry
around huge suitcases filled with designer purse straight from china and some possibly stolen. I was so picky, I looked through so many. Eventually I found a coach bad that suited me and managed to get the guy to take the prince down from 70 to 30. Can you say talent? I also bought a touristy purse that said New york on it and had all the places that I went on it as well. The funny thing about the chinatown sales people is when they see the NYPD they all pack up and run. Its so funny. I bought mine under 50 feet away from the NYPD. I'm pretty lucky!
One last thing about chinatown, its not as nice as you think. Its actually the trashiest area of New York I saw. It was trashier then Queens. Theres grafitti everywhere, all the buildings are old and dosen't resemble china at all. The restraunts made it seem like you would get food poisning. The classiest one was actually the mcdonalds which said mcdonalds in chineese lettering. So anyways now you know more about that.
New York is a place everyone needs to go at least once in their lifetime because it is unlike anything in the whole world. The people are so alive and just living on a whole diffrent planet then the rest of us. Its the only place they sell condoms with obamas face on them on every street corner. The only place where you walk into a Mcdonalds that looks super classy. Flowers and napkins on the table. 3 stories, with a grand piano. In New York Mcdonalds is olive garden. The city never sleeps. YOu'll be out at 12 am and the streets are crowded as if its morning. Stores are open twenty four hours and no one is ever board. New York is the place to be. I love it and I think its my favorite city in teh world.
song of the day: Dynamite - Taio Cruz (I got a lot of new songs yesturday so the songs of the days will be pretty amazing for the next couple weeks!)
quotes of the day:
A person who speaks good English in New York sounds like a foreigner.
- Jackie Mason
They say life's what happens when you're busy making other plans. But sometimes in New York, life is what happens when you're waiting for a table.” -Sarah Jessica Parker
“Traffic signals in New York are just rough guidelines.” - David Letterman (It is so true!! No one follows the walk and stop signals. Everyone just kind of goes. Cars will skid an inch away from you and buses will manage to park in compact car spots. Its crazy!)
“I miss New York. I still love how people talk to you on the street - just assault you and tell you what they think of your jacket.” - Madonna
"Every person on the streets of New York is a type. The city is one big theater where everyone is on display.”

"Fathers be good to your daughters/Daughters will love like you do/Girls become lovers who turn into mothers/so mothers be good to your daughters"
Hello everyone! The lyrics above are from a song by John Mayer called Daughters. I absolutley love it, love it, love it. Ok so guess what kind of blog this one is today. It is...EVERYTHING CELEBRITY!!! Its been awhile since I had the oppurtunity to just blab blab blab about celebrities and whats been going on latley. If you read my little info area you would know that I suffer from celebrity mania. People Magazine is a daily check for me. I just really like celebrities because they live drama and excitment that my life dosen't have...for now.
Ok so here are some stories that have been topping the headlines since I left for my trip. John Travolta and his wife are expecting a child which is really big since they lost a child early last year. Congratulations Mr. And Mrs. Travolta.
Another big story is one that hit me in the heart. Chance Crawford, one of my gossip girl heros, was arrested for Marjuana possession. Its a misdeminor but he could still spend 6 months in jail. Gossip girl without nate would be terrible. I miss his blue eyes already. Check out the mug shot...
Just so you know, he never has a beard like that on the show. Hes normally a real stud.
Perez Hilton has gotten into trouble yet again. For those of you who don't know who he he is, he runs a really popular blog on celebrity dirt. About a week ago he posted a picture of miley cyrus that was innapropriate. Apperently her upper half was showing. Now no one knows for sure if it was edited or not but he took it down in time for half the world to see it, and before he could charged for child pornography (Miley's under 18). She didn't press charges so hes off the hook.
Alicia Keys one of my favorite superstars is now engaged and expecting. Congrats Alicia!
America Ferrerra most famously known for her roles in Ugly Better, and the sisterhood of the traveling pants is engaged. another big congrats!
Megan Fox is also engaged. Congrats to her!
There are a ton of baby rumors going on about Khloe Kardashian and Mariah Carey. Khloe has publically said "I'm just fat" but shes also said some other things to cause speculation. It is no secret that Lamar Odom has children of his own but Kourtney and Khloe wanted to have children around the same age and Mason is getting older fast...
Mariah pulled out of a tyler perry movie which originally caused speculation. Shes also had a weight gain (not uncommen for the great Mariah) and has been lying real low. Nick Cannon says the only baby in their family is their brand new puppy. But you never know....
Theres also been a lot of Michael Jackson and Jackson family news the closer we get to his one year death anneversary, may he R.I.P. His family finally opened the forrest lawn cemetary to the public, and on his death anneversary millions of fans should be there along with Lisa Marie Presly and her daughter, and the entire Jackson family.
Randy Jackson, the youngest of the jackson brothers had a mild heartattack the other day. Hes doing well and was also featured on cnn last week. It was his first time speaking publically about the death of his brother and those who are involved in it.
And last Paris, Prince, and adorable little blanket are hitting the spot light, June 20th (fathers day) on TLC. Their going to be on for an hour long special on TLC about their lives since the death of their father. There will be interviews with each of the kids and just information on how thier doing. Don't miss it. The program is called "The Secret Life of Michael Jacksons children". Lets hope this goes better then Michaels own interview with Martin Bashir.
Thats all for today, your all caught up on the big celebrity news.
Television shows you should check out this summer: Season 3 of The Secret Life of the American Teenager (its been amazing so far) Mondays at 7 on ABC family, Pretty Little Liars (amazing book series and now show) featured on ABC Family 7 p.m on tuesday nights, and Jersey Couture a fun, fab show on oxygen (don't know exactly what night).
I am curretly pretty into House of Payne, and meet the browns. I also started watching Degrassi the Next generation, i'm still in season 1 but the first 2 episodes have been ok. not waht I expected.

Hello Readers! So I ended the last blog on a cliff hanger talking about sucsess. Kobe Bryant is a great example of sports sucsess. He went from a high school basketball team straight to the NBA. Thats a pretty big deal and you have to have a lot of talent. Barack Obama had political sucsess. He graduated from Harvard law school, voluntered as a community person, got a job as a chicago senetor, and went straight to President of the United States. Drake has musical sucsess. His name was sort of known from his apperances on Degrassi. Then he gets a number one hit out of no where. Before he even has an album. Everyone in america has heard best I ever had and if that didn't steal your heart check out find your love. It will. Kim Kardashian has had sucsess but before that shes had luck. She was Paris Hiltons best friend for a while and through that her name became known. She brought her whole family to the top of the buisness and look at them now. How did all these people do it? What is the key to sucsess?
Thats a question on most everyones mind. A lot of people dream about someday being on top of the world like some the people I meantioned above. They dream of somehow reaching an unimaginable level of sucsess. I myself don't know what the exact key to sucsess is. But I have a clue. If you ask most people they'll say knowledge. To reach a level of sucsess you need a great education. Obama is living proof that a great education will get you there. After all, knowledge is power. Anyone who dosen't believe that is a little bit on the stupid side. How am I so sure about that? Well look north korea. Their living breathing people just like us under dictatorship. And how does their dictator keep them down? By deneying them knowledge. I don't just mean a desk and a school book but he deneys them worldly knowledge by taking away t.v., and the internet. Hes kept his people down for years. His tactic worked. I mean come on, name one famous sucsessful person from North Korea? Africa is also a good example, because they have been the poorest nation in the world for years and will be for years to come unless they get the knowledge. Good schools that will produce good educated leaders.
But if education is the key to sucsess how come khloe and kim kardashian don't have a college degree? This brings up the others keys to sucsess. The most famous one is being born into it, like jayden smith. He was born into a family thats able to give him the gift of sucsess at his birth. The third thing important to the train of sucsess, is talent. Of any kind. Sure Kim and Jayden were born into a lot of money, but if they didn't have the talent they woulden't be able to stay on top. Kim has a talent of fashion and creativity. Those two things have gotten her pretty far. She also has amazing confidence that makes a her a prime choice as a model. Jayden has the acting talent, some would say he was born w/it. The last thing that could lead to sucsess is luck. In reality there are 6 billion people in the world each with their own special gift or talent. Some are lucky enough to be able to share their talent with their world leading them to sucsess. Others or not. All you can do is work hard to sculp whatever your talent is and hope that maybe one day your name will be in bold letts on my blog :)

"Oh everytime I close my eyes I see my name in shinning light/A different city every night/oh I swear the world would b a better place 4 a billionare"
Hey Readers!
I decided to take a break from vacation stories because I missed just regularly blogging. So thats hwat you all get today. The song for today is billionare by travie mccoy featuring Bruno Mars. Its actually a pretty good song. It has a nice feel to it and for some reason I really like how it ends "I want to be a millionare SO freakin bad...." Its a pretty chill song. Part of the reason I used the song might have to do with the fact that I watched the Lakers vs. Celtics game last night. I must say that over the last couple weeks i've become into sports. I don't know when it clicked but i;ve figured out why. It has something to do with feeling like your part of something great. When I was watching the game last night the first 3 quarters were not looking too good for the lakers. I watched at my aunts house since it was her birthday. Her and my dad were celtics, and me my mom and my brother were Lakers.
We cheered out heads off the whole game and when Lamar Odom (Khloe Kardashians husband) dunked the ball in the beginning of the fourth quarter you could feel the whole game beinging to change. Its actually a nice expirence but I think it takes time to get into sports. My whole life I would rather watch the news then sports. Sports were the most boring thing possible. I thought that watching a bunch of sweaty giants run around for 3 hours was a waste of my precious time. But now I kind of understnad the whole thing. Those players on the lakers have pure talent. Kobe Bryant is a king. I know a lot of people hate him because he has a "big head" but honestly he deserves to have a big head. He is one of the greats now. Hes 1 championship away from being on michael jordan and kareem abdul jabars level. Those are good players. So long story short Congrats to the lakers.
I also now have an intrest in soccer. Since the world cup started i've been watching like a game a day. Or at least part of one. Soccer takes a lot of talent which is why its not popular in the U.S. People don't like to work hard in the U.S. and soccer is a sport with no breaks. You just play for the full time and the defense in the world cup is fantastic. You could watch a whole game and the players are so good that neither team can even kick the ball in the goal once. Its challegning and some of those south american players are really attractive. REALLY attractive.
Those players are also billionares. They've worked hard and reached succsess to the point where people all over the world was watching them. How do they reach that sucsess? check out the next BLOG... :)

quote of the day: He's got more talent in those bangs then I have in my whole body - Megan fox talking about Justin Bieber. Hes quite the celebrity ladies man. Earlier this week he was seen walking hand in hand on the beach with Kim Kardashian. Just friends though :)
Book of the day: (The book of the day is new, just for the summer because during sumer days I read a book a day. Reading is a passion of mine so you guys can find out what i'm reading each day). Today is Heist Society by Ally Carter. Its a story about a girl who is part of a family on super theives. Its got some mystery and some one of a kind action. Classic Ally Carter book!

"In New York! Concrete jungle where dreams of/theres nothing you can't do/ in New YORK , New YORK, New Yoooork" - Empire State of mind
I'm thinking from the song title you can all guess what I did on the second day of my trip. We woke up really early and hit the road for a four hour trip to New York from Maryland. I was too excited to sleep so I enjoyed the cd's that we brought along for the trip. The hotel we stayed in was in New Jersey so we took a metro into the city. The first place we arrived was ground zero (the place where the twin towers used to stand). I can't say it was really exciting, their in the process of building something new there and we coulden't find the memorial so we just chilled by this cool water thingy as seen below:
Eventually we got a call from the guy you was going to show us around. He was at millenium hilton which is this pretty cool hilton hotel. Our tour guides name is Musa Mseraleoni and he is one of a kind. His real last name is not mseraleoni that just a nickname people called him because he used to where these west african shirts and was really dark. He is a rastafarian. He has super long dreads and he wore a little kanga thing and yeah. He was one of a kind and talked a lot, most of what he discussed were all the buildings he owned. He owned half of new york from what he says. He really lied to us big time but he kept us laughing and showed us all the cool places. like....
Time Square
Where the ball is dropped on New Years Eve; (speaking of that, when we got back to Maryland we told Bill we went there. He told us that he went one new years eve. I was like THATS SO COOL! He was like no actually it really wasent. Me and my mom were squished, I could barley even see the ball, there were gay people making out everywhere, and the whole time we wished we were watching t.v. this = not everyone has the same appriciation of these places as me)
Hard Rock Cafe
Madison Square Garden
Crystler building
Union Square
My favorite of every place we went was time square. I felt like I was truley in New York when I saw all those sky scrapers and all the huge advirtisments. There were lots of people everywhere, and it was just the best feeling n the world to be standing amoung all those amazed fast moving people. I was on top of the world there. Hard Rock Cafe was in time square, we didn't eat there but it was still nice to just go inside. Union Square was a pretty chill plae where there were lots of people dancing and skating around. It was nice. They also had a forever 21 across the street that made it even better. The crylstler building was realllly tall. It had pretty good arcitecture and reminded me of the beginning of gossip girl. Madison square garden was a big name but they didn't have any concerts happening. We also drove through a lot of diffrent places. Like soho, china town, little italy, and Brooklynn. It was a really nice place to visit.

"Hello hello, I don't know why you say goodbye I say hello"
Hello blog!
I think this may be the longest i've gone without blogging since I got this. I hope all of you readers have been well. I had an AMAZING, much needeed vacation. I had the best of times on it and I'll never forget it. I decided to share the story of my whole trip with you through this blog so here it goes.
I left kansas at 6:00 pm to head to chicago midway airport then maryland. My flight got delayed, at chicago so by the time we arived to Maryland it was like midnight. Our gps got us pretty lost heading to my cousins house but around 1:30 we arrived. My aunt and uncle were up along with my cousin Neema. It was good to see everyone and we went right to bed. We woke up early the next morning to get ready for the main event. The graduation of Neema Maud Innocent and Nabil (secret middle name) Abdulla. The graduation was at college park at the university of Maryland. Keeping true to our familys ways we were late and missed the beggining part but made it at the time where the speeches started. The speeches were good and the names began being called. Both Neema and Bill did end up graduation along with a TON of other kids. Their school was like 100% black. There was not a single person of other color that I saw. That was new to me because there isen't a single school in lawrence like that. After awhile all the people started looking the same. They all had in weaves, curled at the bottom. They all wore basically the same white shoes and did the same things.
After the graduation was over we went outside and IMEDIATLY saw other african people. Thats D.C. for you. Half of Tanzania lives there. There was another boy from there graduation, he was kinda cute but was with his family. His aunt happens to be my godmother :) After getting past that big group we finally saw my Uncle Sunday with Bill and Camille. Bill looked SO happy. Heres some pics...
inside the graduation
The four cousins, Camille, Bill, Ben, and Me
The cousins and their fathers
Two graduates, Neema and Bill

Family Picture
It took a long time till we finally found Neema, like an hour. Her parents had to bring her over to us and she left like within 5 minutes. She was so busy, we didn't even get to take a picture of her in here robe... As soon as she was done taking a couple pictures with us she went straight to her best friend who was graduation in an hour and helped her get ready then they went off together. We all drove home except for bill and family who had other plans. We were techically at a little celebration for neema but there was no neema there. Eventually uncle sunday came, hung out a little then took me and ben to bills house for his little celebration. Bll was home so I got to hang out with him and camille. We had a great time, lots of laughs. Camille told me all about her school and hereself. We had such a good time she reminded me of myself at her age. She dosen't look like me but hse likes the same things I used too. She told me about all her little crushes :). It was some good times. By the time we left Bill's it was night time so we headed back to Neema's, all of us together and hung out there for awhile. They left and we all just chilled preparing for the next morning. Heres some pictures from bill's "celebration".

song of the day: Hello Goodbye- The beatles, and We are the world (Neema and Bills graduation song)
quotes of the day: A graduation ceremony is an event where the commencement speaker tells thousands of students dressed in identical caps and gowns that "individuality" is the key to success. ~Robert Orben
Graduation is only a concept. In real life every day you graduate. Graduation is a process that goes on until the last day of your life. If you can grasp that, you'll make a difference. ~Arie Pencovici

His aunt happens to be my godmother :) After getting past that big group we finally saw my Uncle Sunday with Bill and Camille. Bill looked SO happy. Heres some pics...
