"Vacation all I really wanted..."

Hello, Its been so long since I wrote on this. I was looking over my last post and I feel like an entirely different person now. Well some things haven't changed. I'm currently burning dvds for my mom, and listening to Justin Bieber like always. If you haven't listened to Believe, you better do it. It's crazy good. Most of the album is like acoustic/ pop with r&b vibes. My favorite song on the album (the one that's playing as we speak) is Fall. About two weeks ago, I came back from my trip to Zanzibar. Where to begin...I left with my mom and brother on the May 29th. It was only nine days after my graduation. The trip took a total of two days by plane and we flew Emirates. We lucked out from Dallas, Tx to Dubai and got to fly Business class!! This may be no big deal to some of you, but to us it was super exciting because lets be real...we can't afford business class. We got all the perks (well the under 18 perks) that come with business class. The plane had these awesome chairs that turn into a bed at night while the ceiling was adorned with sparkles. And there were only three chairs in our row, so I didn't have to avoid falling on some stranger. I always get stuck next to the weirdo on a plane..well except for this time. All Emirates flights stop by Dubai, so we rested there over night in a beautiful hotel curtesy of Emirates. My cousin Louisa came to pick us up from the hotel and take us wandering around the beautiful city of Dubai. There were palm trees, sand, and skyscrapers everywhere. We went to a less beautiful part of town where they sell knock offs, because my mom was in search of a hot pink "chiffon" scarf for the wedding. While looking we so awesome Beats, Juicy Couture jump suits, and these weird Alexander McQueen scarfs with skulls on them that are absolutley everywhere. We succeeded in finding what we were looking for and returned to the hotel completely worn out. We went to see my aunt and baby cousin who arrived at a later plane then went to bed. The next morning the five of us packed up and headed to the airport together. The flight wasn't so bad, it was a total of about five hours. We took another little plane to Dar where some family was waiting to pick us up from the airport. It was nice and everyone was excited to see each other. The next day, my brother and I moved into our grandmothers place and stayed there for the remainder of the trip. I really like my grandmothers house. It's unique and has a good feel to it. My two uncles, along with two workers that are more like family live there. We had a good time together and spent many days at Forothani (a downtown type area right by the beach where you can watch the sunset and have yummy foods) and wandering around stone town. The few big tourist things we did include: A day trip to Chumbe Island and Prison Island, Two days in Bwejuu, and a long weekend in Mombasa. Chumbe is a really cool place. Don't believe me? Ask Jane Goodall, shes been there too. IT's a preservation island so they haven't cut down trees to make sidewalks or anything, but it's spotlessly clean. Littering is not allowed, and there are strict consequences if you do. They don't let people fish in the area or take home shells or anything. We took nature walks and went snorkeling. It was my first time, and I was actually successful! There's something really cool about seeing all the coral reefs, starfish, and other little fishes swimming underneath you. I loved it! Prison Island was a similar experience, but they had more wildlife. We some these giant turtles that can only be found on a few places on earth. Some weighed as much as 300 pounds and had to be lifted by cranes if you were to move them to a different island. I normally hate turtles, but these were less gross. You could touch them and everything. They also had peacocks and these weird deer species that only grows to the size of rabbits but have antlers and everything. It was good times. Both trips were with family. My aunts treated me well. I love them to death. Bwejuu was at my uncles hotel and that was a very good time. We got the five star treatment and got some good swimming in. We got to see this little town and experience life over there. It has one of the most beautiful beaches i've ever seen. Mombasa needs a new blog pots. It's coming as soon as i cant figure out how to get the paragraph spaces to work, get ready..
