Top Television Shows & Moments of 2012 : "A Dolla Make You Holla Honey Boo Boo Child"

Top Ten Television Shows and Moments of 2012

1. "Blair Cornelia Waldorf, Will you Marry Me" - Chuck Bass. This sounds like a simple moment, because plenty of people get married in all kinds of big ways all around the world. I've been waiting five seasons to hear those words though. Chuck and Blair were that couple in Gossip Girl that everyone wanted to see end up happily ever after and the season finally gave them that. Their song Henry Bass couldn't be cuter either. And we finally figured out who Gossip Girl was...or should I say Gossip Guy. It was Dan Humphrey, the apparently self proclaimed "lonely boy". I was glad to see everyone ending up where they belong. I'm going to miss my favorite television show.

2. The season finally of one of the longest running series on television : One Tree Hill (CW) . I have been super obsessed with this series for the last couple of years. It's about dreaming big, falling in love, heart ache, marriage, and crazies. I was very sad to see it end, but happy to see Jamie grow up to be the new Nathan. Everyone got their happy ending with a spouse and babies. At the end of the day that's all most people are looking for right?

3. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo : I didn't watch very many episodes of Toddlers in Tiaras, so I had no idea what to expect when I turned on Honey Boo Boo and her families reality show. If you haven't watched you better "redneckonize" what you're missing out on. "A dolla make you holla honey boo boo child". Their little sayings and nicknames for each other really make the show. They are a very real American family. Ok, maybe a little more country then mos tare, but it's funny to see real people for once. You couldn't pretend to be that way for all the money in the world. It's really reality. Everything from their pet pig no chickadee trying to gain weight instead of lose it made it one of the most memorable shows of the year.

4. Catfish (MTV) : I watched the movie when it came out on DVD forever ago. It was heartbreaking and eye opening, but the show is simply hilarious. Nev, was a guy who fell in love over the internet only to figure out the women wasn't anywhere close to what she said she was. So now, he's helping people figure out their online loves. The funniest episode was Jasmine and Mike. I don't want to give anything away but Mhissy is a must thing. Check it out next time it's on.

This year I was obsessed with these African American couple reality shows. They were very real and living the dream. Pretty girls dating these successful black men who just have a whole lot of love for each other. It's too bad drama and the price of success always gets in the way. But some of the couples get through it all and stick together. They have each others back. It's too cute for words.

5. Chrissy and Mr. Jones : They had their first season this year, and it was fantastic to watch. Their both pretty laid back personalities, but they put everything they have in their relationship. Mr. Jones made the show for me. He's this big, bad rapper but at the end of the day he just wants to have babies and marry the woman of his dreams. He had some elaborate romantic moves, and him chasing her around that factory after agreeing to make her a partner was enough to make anyone smile.

6. Marrying The Game : Can we start with the fact that the game has a real name? I totally didn't know. It's Jayceon. I think it's really cute, but I can't name my little boy that because I doubt whoever i'm married too will want to name their kid after the game. Enough me dilemmas, lets go back to the games eyes..I mean his television show. This was supposed to be documenting his marriage to Tiffany the mother of his two children. Tiffany was different. She was a school teacher and had expectations for her husband (she's also much older then him). Anyways it was a really cute relationship, but "the game" got in the way. I hope they find their way back to each other, and Jayceon at least gets refunded for some of that wedding stuff.

7. Tamar and Vince : I discovered this one towards the end of the year. My aunt told me the Braxtons had a lot of good shows, but I didn't pay them much attention. I turned it on to find the hilarious life of Mr. & Mrs. Vincent Herbert. He's the big time executive, and she's the new money wife who really wants to be a star. It's lots of "honey, make me a star" temper tantrums. It's funny to see how he reacts to his crazy, but fabulous wife. She's a lot of fun to watch and I love the "Get Yo Life" that she throws out all the time.

8. T.I. & Tiny : The Family Hustle : T.I. is most well known for being the artists that brought all those guns to an award show then got locked up at least 3 times in the last few years. Tiny is the woman that has been by his side through it all. The show paints T.I. as a nice family man and chronicles the family love of the life of him & his wife and their combined six children. It's a fun life and Sheikanah (her hair dresser/best friend) makes everything they do that much funnier.

9. The Secret Life of The American Teenager : This show has an upcoming final season, but it has come a long way in general. I watched from the very beginning, and it's fun to see their teen family grow and prosper. It was nice to see Ricky finally find his way to Amy and them get kind of married kind of not. It shows that positivity can come from the most negative of situations. Honestly, the season ended too long ago for me to point out any significant details.

10. Houston's : On Our Own : This shows Bobbi Kristina and her family trying to figure out life after Nippy (more popularly known as the late, great Whitney Houston). Bobbi has had a pretty sheltered life despite all her moms appearances in the press. There were laughs, successes, disappointments and plain weird moments. It was sad to see Bobbi under the influence of a lot of things. You can't blame her though, because her parents didn't exactly pave the way. Then there's the whole weird relationship between her and Nick to tackle. They were brother and sister, then boyfriend girlfriend, then engaged, then back to brother and sister again. I know it's difficult to keep that straight and even more difficult to relate to. Anyways the show was a huge success in my book. Best thing to come out of lifetime.

"When it seems all your dreams come undone we stand by your side/Filled with hope and with pride we are more then we are/We are One"

Hey Everyone!
You know what makes today amazing? SNOW DAY!!! I'm not that big of a fan of the snow because me and cold don't get along. I prefer to be inside but if snows what it takes for a couple days off of school, i'll take it. We got one yesterday too, I spent the day relaxing at home and watching lots of One Tree Hill. I'm pretty obsessed with that show for those of you who don't know, and if you watch there's a chance that Lucas and Peyton will be coming back for the 8th season!!Thats really exciting news and the perfect transition. My favorite character from one tree hill is Brooke Davis, played by Sophia Bush who actually has a connection to the Arizona murders. Have you all heard about those?

I think the guy was "mental", and the congresswoman was at a SafeWay (super market) and was going to do like a meet and greet with the average jos of America to conversate over what they want to see in the near future and what she can do for them. The guy knew she was going to do this, bought bullets from Walmart (although he was denied at the first two Walmarts he went to) and went to the grocery store. He had one of those guns that shoot on its own and you only pull the trigger once. Sorry if that doesn't make sense, I know absolutely nothing about guns. But anyways so he ends up shooting the congresswoman in the head, she's been in critical condition for the last couple days. He shot I think up to ten people and quite a few of them died.

One of the people who died was a 9 year old girl who happened to be born on 9/11. She was featured in a book as one of the things of hope that came out of such a tragedy. Its really sad that she died during an attack and was born during one as well. My prayers go out to her and her family. This little girl happens to be related to Sophia Bush, it was her second cousin. She was on Chelsea Lately (pretty funny show by the way) and talked about how she never even got a chance to meet her. And she made her realize that life is short and we should all make more time for our families and friends. Its really true. You never know whats going to happen today or the next day. You can just keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best.

Situations like this make me kind of scared for the world. Have you noticed there are more and more crazies out there ready to harm someone else and damage the life of that human being and their family for eternity. Its sad we live in a world thats getting torn further and further apart instead of people coming closer together.

Today is 1/11/11. My hope for the world this year is for us to be one. Just like the date. We need to all come together and learn to love our fellow human beings.

"I don't wannna be anything other then what i've been trying to be latley" One Tree Hill theme song :)

If you could have guessed from the title of this blog I'm going to tell you about what I think of the top 10 television shows of 2010. My opinion, not the worlds, but you should check these shows out if you haven't already. Spoler Alert (I may give away some details so close your eyes on some of these if your behind)

1. Gossip girl: I've loved this since it was a book series but the show took it in a totally different amazing direction. I love this show becuase of the true on and off crazy whirlwind romance between Chuck and Blair. I really enjoined Serena finally having to decide between Nate and Dan. Vanessa, Jenny, Juliette, and that weird european girl all just need to go because they ruined my perfect moments from this season. I'm a gossip girl addict though. (comes on Mon. on the CW at 8)

2. One Tree Hill: Sometimes I wonder if this show will ever stop teaching me these fantastic life lessons. I'm not just talking about this season I'm talking about all of them. The characters storylines were very good this year and they made me want to scream so many times in the directions they took things but hte good thing about One Tree Hill is you ALWAYS get your happy ending. (comes on tuesdays on the CW at 7)

3. The Secret Life of the American Teenager: This is a really good show and unlike most shows the storyline gets better every season. It takes you into the life of your average american teenager with some not so average problems. You sympathisize with Amy trying to raise a child on her own, You fall in love with the bad boy character of Ricky even though you know you shoulden't, You see that everyone makes mistakes through Ben and Adrianne and Their little oopsie daisy this season.
Its just a great show and for the record i'm on team Amy and Ricky

4. Keeping up With the Kardashians: Reality T.V. has really hit it big in the buisness but this family is my absolute favorite. How can you not like the family dynamic between Kim, Kourtney, Khloe', Rob, the little girls, Kris and Bruce. Scotts crazy actions make you sad and feel sympathetic. Kims romantic adventures make you realize that everyones looking for love. Khloe is the comic relief. And everyone else just makes the show greater. I love it!

5. Glee: This is a sensational show. You get Drama, singing, dancing, and the most unique of characters. Too many to describe indivisually so just know, I can't get enough of it!

6. Modern Family: This is the funniest show on television. I'm not even joking. Modern family is about a modern family. You've got 3 semi familys all connected through their father. Two "regular" parents trying to deal with two crazy teenage daughters and a weird son, A gay couple and their adopted child from vietnam figuring it all out, An old man with a young columbian women and his step son Manny all coming together to be a family. And make the world die of laughter

7. Pretty Little Liars: I really liked this as a book series, and it was fun watching it come to life. The story line is great and just filled with twists and turns. It made American fall in love with mystery all over again

8. Tori and Dean home Sweet Hollywood: Tori and Dean are the worlds cutest couple with really adorable children. Its fun to watch them go through the ups and downs on their daily lives and see how things turn out for them every week. It's pretty funny too

9. Tean Mom: This show is what you call a guilty pleasure. The four moms in this show are just trying to figure out how to deal with their mistakes and keep you pretty entertained. You see some of the rough moments of parenthood, you get the romantic aspects, and You get to watch Amber beat her boyfriend Gary which is hilarious every time. MTV did good with this one

10. Kendra: Kendra was a girl famous for being a playmate and Hugh Hefners girlfriend for many years. Shes a really cool down to earth lady who provides non stop laughter with the help of her Husband Hank Basket ( a football player), her baby Hank, and her friends

I know I said, I was only doing 10 but I have to give one honerable meantion: Tiny and Toya. I love this show! Tiny and Toya are both really cool sucsessful ladies and I enjoy watching them on BET. Their kids are part of a group called the OMG girlz who are pretty cool too. Its a great show

"I better find your love and I better find your heart/ I bet if I give all my love then nothings gonna tear us apart/ I'm more then just a number"

Hey Readers,
So for the record the song of the day is called Find you love and its by Drake. I love drake. Have I ever meantioned. Its relieving that a guy can get up there and do the whole rap thing without fifty million tattoos, a jail cell, and grillz. I know it sound awfully anti-rapper but I find it kind of hard to take those "tough" kind of rappers seriously. But Drake is diffrent. Hes cute and he'll smile and the song find your love is awesome. I like the lyrics because their easy to relate too. Its a good song you all should check it out. But while I was listening to find your love on a walk I started thinking about lyrics. I've noticed that every artist has their own lyric style. I guess you can say that my songs revolve around the chorus which I thought was most normal but with some songs the chorus is just totally random. I think this summer i'm gonna try and write some diffrent kind of songs. I hope its a good idea. I'll tell you how it goes, and maybe even post some lyrics :)

In Epic Traditions, which is my current english class we're reading a book called the Inferno. What is the book about? Sin, and Hell. You know this is what I don't like about public school. I'm stuck reading a book about all the things that will get you to hell when i'd rather read a book on the way to heaven. Part of me really wishes my school had a religion reading class. I'm not trying to be predjidice or whatever but the atheist people woulden't have to sign up for it. Anyways sorry if I pushed anyones buttons but back to the book. It makes me a little sad reading the book because I find myself doing a lot of thinking about whether I commit some of those sins. I definatly am not as extreme as the people Dante finds in the inferno but I feel like maybe its not ok for me to even be doing the little things that are bad. Like making fun of people in my head, because newsflash people. God can hear your thoughts and mine are not always good. So be careful what you think, slick

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG! Now you know that means right??? Last night Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill blew me away. I'll start with one tree hill. It was amazing because one of the main characters Haley is really depressed and the episode ended with her jumping into the cool attempting suicide. It was like OMG! So ofcourse it was a typical one tree hill end of the season where one of the characters is in danger only this time I don't know if being a main character is enough. This may be the last season on one tree hill but people on twitter were pettitioning and #WeareONETH became a trending topic which is awesome.

Right when I thought one tree hill coulden't be any better Gossip girl took T.V. to the next level. The episode was killer and Chuck finally got his in with blair. They did what they did best and schemed to save their friend. It had been awhile since the full blair waldorf scheme was pulled but with Chuck at her side they realized that Serenas father was phony. And when nate called the police to arrest his butt, Dan was by Serenas side in saving him and you know what that means. Dan and Serena together AGAIN! YES! Then Little J showed up at Nates house when he was all alone with no one to comfort him. I'm feeling that couple too. Then Chuck walked to up to blair and said something amazing. It was another legendary Chuck Bass line. He said, " I'll wait for you at the top of the empire state building. If your not in my presence by 7:01 then I close my heart to you forever". Blair replied to" You can't Affair to remember me". But what everyone watching gossip girl knew was Blair and Chuck are two puzzle pieces that fit. They belong together. IT didn't help that Blair looked over at the empire state building ending the show. What was AMAZING was the preview for next weeks episode. It involved CHUCK BASS PROPOSING TO BLAIR. OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. I screamed...I seriously coulden't help it. A GOSSIP GIRL POSSIBLE WEDDING. I'll fill you in next week on what happened.

song of the day: Find your love - Drake

quotes from gossip girl episode: Nate: Last year, Georgina pretended to be this rich Canadian to get Poppy, but things got all messed up when she turned her back on Jesus. - Nate

"You know what they say, Love they neighbor as thyself (you should have seen it in the episode i'm still laughing about that line) - Gossip Girl

"We don't expect you to keep up, its beyond basic rugby stratagy" Chuck bass

"I dont see why we need blair. You read gossip girl. Extortions what I do all day" - Jenny "little J" humphrey

And my favorite:
Blair: I mean, who starts a courtship during the day, anyway?
Serena: Humans who venture out in light and aren't named Bass? = <3
